Boer Goats

So we started out wanting something to 'eat the weeds' in the pasture...well, we do not like anything that is not high quality, so we sought nice quality meat goats. Well, then you might as well bred them and have more...right?

So we have a nice assortment of Boer nannies that we are breeding with the intention to raise quality goats that keep the weeds down, naturally fertilize the pasture and we can sell the off spring!

I like my pastures clipped, so we will see how well they doat their main purpose...plus, they are a lot of fun to watch run and jump and just be silly. Makes you feel like going out and running and jumping around yourself! After all, why not?????
